Eastern Bluebird" is the correct size for several songbirds
including Eastern Bluebird, Chickadees, Titmice, Nuthatches,
Wrens, Prothotary Warbler, Downy Woodpecker and Tree Swallows.
For Bluebirds place
birdhouse 3 to 6 feet high in open land with a few trees or fence
posts for perching.
For Tree Swallows
and Violet-Green Swallows place nest box 3 to 8 feet above
ground near open land with few trees and preferably near water
(pond, creek, lake or swampy area)
For English Sparrow
place nest box most anywhere near a bulding in an easy viewing
area.
