This mat board is "Crescent Decorative Matboard". It is made of wood pulp that is buffered with calcium carbonate to slow the damage caused by acid and lignin.

Our Crystal Clear Acrylic (plexiglass) is .100" thick which is similar to premium glass. This is more than 50% thicker than some framers offer. Our acrylic blocks 92% of harmful UV Rays to give your print or other artwork better protection and is shipped with a protective paper covered film.
